13% of Tanzanian homes have at least one member living with a disability. These people are often having extreme poverty and are marginalized. The impact of disability brings a challenge in securing steady income amid prevalent exclusion. The impacts of poverty leads to different hazards including malnutrition, failure to combat diseases and failure for children to attend schools
Recognizing the challenge, at KCBRP we provide micro-finance tools for families to care for children’s special needs and empower them with entrepreneurship skills. Also we support economic inclusion of youths with disabilities through vocational training that will eventually facilitate their (self) employment.
A society in which vulnerable groups & young people with disabilities enjoy just and inclusive life.
